Testing support for Magellan eXplorist devices. The cachelist of your choice is converted to the eXplorist format and copied into external memory. There are a couple of issues:
- eXplorist devices ignore caches past the first 200, I’ll add some checks later.
- I can only save directly to internal memory, not a SD Card (might not be an issue)
- I don’t have an eXplorist to test with…
To use it do the following:
- 1. Connect your Magellan eXplorist (should show up on your desktop as something like “NO NAME”
- 2. Menu Beta -> Export to eXplorist
- 3. Select the Cache List
- 4. Watch the magic!

eXplorists can only handle 200 caches within each geocache or waypoint file; but you can have multiple geocache or waypoint files, even if they each hold 200 waypoints.

Okay, I’ll break the cache list up into multiple files when exporting if there are more than 200.
