Build #183 - Delete and HC

Download: MacCaching Build #183(9mb)

This is a bunch of bug fixes and major update for Garmin HC owners. If you have the HC, please give this build a try and let me know if it works (without locking up MacCaching).

- Fixed: “Delete from Library” caused a crash
- Fixed: Unable to delete caches (from library or cachelist)
- Fixed: Other things that I forgot to record… :)
- Working on: Garmin HC Support

Please note that a “Select Database” dialog has been added. This feature is not entirely functional yet, so please do not report that the buttons “don’t work.”

Build #180 - Logs Everywhere!

Download: MacCaching Build #180 - Pre 1.3.0 (8.5mb)

Working towards a 1.3.0 release. Please note, you may experience problems with this version of MacCaching. This build recommended for expert users. Please report all bugs in this forum thread. You may not want to drop this build into your Applications folder (yet).

Change Log So Far (some repeated from Build #172/175):
- Added: Beta version of GPSBabel
- Added: Templates for File Export
- Fixed: Added Logs to vCard
- Fixed: eXplorist Crashes
- Fixed: when dragging and dropping caches, Smart CacheLists show up in the list
- Fixed: It is possible to delete caches if it is a smart cachelist, even though it doesn’t actually delete anything
- Added logs to iPod Notes (through templates)
- Fixed: Smart Cachelist: “Does not contain” did not work correctly, it does now.
- Fixed: iPod Notes fails to export (twice)
- Added default values for Difficulty and Terrain

Build #175: Garmin HC Fix

This build is specifically to test a fix for the Garmin HC series. Another build (pre-1.3) is still being worked on.

Please report in the forms if this does or does not work.

NOTE: This build will break vCard/iPod Contact exports. (Using either of these formats will cause this build of MacCaching to crash.

Build #172: iPod, Maps, and Smart Cachelists fixed

This build contains several bug fixes:

  • More robust iPod detection
  • Fixed issue with Smart Cachelist (”Does Not Contain” did not always work)
  • A minor issue with CacheMaps has also been fixed
  • Fixed issue with blank diff/terrain

Also included is the brand new (more colorful, less words) Quick Start Guide.

Smart Cachelists were ignoring the “limit to” option. This build fixes this bug. Remember, if you have not used Smart Cachelists yet click here for a video tutorial on them.

MacCaching 1.2.1 (#158) - Minor Leopard Fixes

Bug fixes as we learn more about MacCaching running on Leopard. This build includes the CacheMaps introduced in 1.2!

  • Fixed: GPX and LOC files import properly
  • Fixed: Search field didn’t load properly
  • Fixed: CacheMap issues (some still exist)

Note: We have confirmed that the Keyspan Serial adapter works correctly with the Tiger (10.4.0) driver.

Build 113 - Fixed Problem in Coordinate Editor

Download: Mac Caching Build #133 - Cache editor crash fixed (5.3mb)

After editing coordinates MacCaching might crash. This build fixes this problem. Thanks to edbusch for pointing it out. This was very similar to a problem early on. Looks like I missed this in my regular testing!
